GWP is home to many fantastic leisure facilities, both indoor and outdoor, available for all to enjoy.
There are several more parks, community centres, and a public house planned for GWP. Information on these will become available in due course.
The Pavilion is a fantastic new facility located in the heart of GWP, in the District Neighbourhood. This £3 million building, that opened in Summer of 2016, features a bar, a kitchen, changing facilities, a first-floor outdoor viewing terrace and much more.
This Pavilion is run by the Boundary Park Sports Association and is the new home Didcot Cricket Club, Didcot Rugby Club, and Harwell & Hendred Youth Football Club. The multifuctional building is also available for private hire events. For more information, please visit www.boundarypark.org.
Boundary Park forms the heart of GWP and is the largest open space on the whole development. This state of the art park, that opened in August 2016, offers the following:
- 5 x Junior Football Pitches
- 2 x Cricket pitches
- 2 x Rugby pitches
- 1 x full size Football pitch
- 5 x junior pitches of assorted size

Local Park, which is located in the Northern Neighbourhood, opened its gates to the public in August 2016.
This large play park offers various pieces of modern play equipment and pockets of green open space, which can be safely enjoyed by families and children of all ages.
Northern Neighbourhood Community Centre
The Northern Neighbourhood Community Centre is a modern, purpose-built community space with a private garden and parking facilities. The centre regularly hosts community groups, exercise classes, and many more community-based activities. This centre is the first of three community centres planned for GWP.
