Steel frame for new secondary school goes up

Significant progress has now been made on the construction of the new secondary school at Great Western Park.

Aureus School, a new school for 11 to 16-year-olds, is due to open its doors in September 2017 and the majority of the steel frame for the building is now erected.

Aureus is being built to accommodate eight forms of entry (240 pupils in each year group) ,with a maximum capacity of

1,200 pupils, and will be run by GLF Schools multi academy trust.
